Upon completion of classes and testing, your puppy will receive:
  • AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Medal
  • AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Certificate
  • AKC Puppy Handbook, a valuable resource
  • Ongoing Monthly Email Newsletter from AKC
  • Discount to enroll in AKC Companion 24-hour Animal Recovery Service

Basic Obedience and Beyond
Education is the key to successful dog training, and the Basic Obedience and Beyond Class is fun and educational for both the dog and owner.  Your dog will learn the basics:  sit, stay, down, come, walking on a loose leash, etc.  Plus you will learn how to shape desirable behaviors while eliminating unwanted ones, by using humane and effective positive reinforcement techniques. Beyond this, you and your dog will learn to understand each other, and work together to build a happy, long-lasting relationship, with you as the natural leader.  No dog is too old to train, and this class is open to all dogs above 6 months of age. First class is an owner orientation class, please do not bring your dogs.
6 week class begins Wednesday March 24th, 6:30pm, cost  $85.00
