Congratulations to our own Treasure Beach resident, Jill Ziebell, for receiving 2nd Place Honors in the St. Augustine Art Association's, "8th Annual Tactile Art Show".

This juried show features "Touchable Artwork" of interactive art that appeals to all the senses, particularly to the blind and visually impaired. After months of preparation, Jill's 3-D multi-media wire art was inspired from the suggestion of her Holistic Health Care Provider; "to create a piece of art in honor of her Life's Journey". The artwork is aptly named "For the Love of Me - thru the ages". "I was totally surprised to even place ... I just started creating art again", Ziebell said; "I've focused my creative talents on outdoor Landscape Designs for awhile now, and it feels great to get into actual pieces again!"

This Show runs until October 28th. Stop by to view many of the other talented artists, and remember to "Please Touch" the art!! The St. Augustine Art Association is celebrating 85 Years of operation and is located at 22
Marine Street. The Gallery is FREE to the public year round: Tuesday- Saturday: 12-4pm, Sunday: 2-5pm, call 824-2310 to confirm hours.
