THE PRESIDENT'S DOCK APRIL, 2010 Happy Easter to everyone! It's a wonderful time of the year when all Christians rejoice in the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Every Easter Ron and I put coins and some dollars in plastic Easter eggs and hide them all over the yard for our grandchildren to find. Invariably, we're still finding Easter eggs months later! It works out great though….whenever I'm running a little short on money I just search the yard for eggs!!! TREASURE BEACH RESIDENT'S APPRECIATION DAY! Mark Your Calendars! When: April 24, 2010 Time: 1:00 p.m. Where: Butler Park West Bring: A covered dish to share, games, chairs! This will be a fun time for all Treasure Beach owners and renters to get to know each other. Hot dogs and burgers will be provided along with drinks, etc. I'm lining up an old rock star as entertainment!!!! Call Charlie Novak at 471-1579 to volunteer! APRIL 13,2010 – NEXT COMMUNITY MEETING 7:30 Beacher's Lodge Meeting Room We will have Dr. Monahan from Monahan Chiropractic as our guest speaker. Be sure to come and bring your aches and pains. (Or, you can leave him/her home if you prefer!!!) MEMBERSHIP IN TBPOA We have 191 members as of 2/22/10. If you haven't paid your dues yet, you still have time!!! Think of it this way: it's .11cents per day, .76 cents per week, and only $3.33 per month! Due to sensitive issues discussed at your community meetings, it will now be necessary that everyone that attends show proof of residency in Treasure Beach. Obviously, if you have been attending meetings for quite some time, this won't be necessary. But, if you are new to the meetings, we will ask for your address. Please understand this has become necessary to protect our business discussions. WALKWAY Your Board is still trying to work out solutions to the beach walkway situation with Seychelles and will be in court two times in March. Protecting your property values is our #1 priority. VOLUNTEERS AND BOARD MEMBERS Thanks to all of the "behind the scenes" helpers in TB.
