Jacquelyn Petersen, 50, of St. Augustine, died March 12, 2008, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. Ms Petersen was a native of Albany, Ga., and had resided in St. Augustine for the past six years. Ms. Petersen was a graduate of Albany High School and of the Albany State College, graduating as a nurse. She worked for 25 years in nursing while living in Albany. She also worked at the Ocean Blue and The Point Restaurant on Vilano Beach.
Services: A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 12 noon until 4 p.m. at 212 Puebla Road, St. Augustine.
Survivors: Her fiance, Big Mike, Treasure Beach; daughter, Janice Petersen, Columbus, Ga.; sister, Janet Permar; Atlanta, Ga.; brothers, Charles Strickland, North Carolina, Ray Strickland, Atlanta; nieces, nephews other relatives and friend.
